ELSAandME showed off a few pieces of its F/W’10 pant goodies during an event in Stockholm on January 30.
4 lovely Swedish models showed the ELSAandME pants in the windows of the popular and trendy Scandic Anglais hotel and bar, by Stureplan in Stockholm.

WEBSITE UPDATE – updated website can be found HERE
ELSAandME is still making pants. Pants, described as the garment extending from the waist to the knee or ankle, covering each leg separately.
As of today the ELSAandME website is updated, and there you can have a look on what’s new in pant business for Spring 2010. Far more is being worked upon, but it has been decided to keep it a glorified secret until its full release in the near future…

FASHION SHOW For the first time ever in history ELSAandME showcased its own fashion show in New York City presenting the 2010 SPRING/SUMMER bio-sustainable dress pant collection.

Featured guest stars were Maria Romanova, as ballerina, and Nelson Oliver, as the evening’s drum boy.

PETRA GLIMRING is a name to remember. For those of you who have followed ELSAandME, seen our pictures, lovely models, and the over all styles have already gotten a glimpse of what this lovely lady has to offer.
PETRA GLIMRING is born in Vingåker, Sweden, and just recently moved to the US in order to explore the possibilities of a career in fashion, glamour, Hollywood - in the capacity of her profession as make-up and hair-stylist.
With a creative mind and artistic talent only a few people could be considered having, PETRA has put her talent to work, and helped ELSAandME with our creative scenes (see cabaret photoshoot, and cabaret fashion show).
ELSAandME is proud of having had the opportunity to work with such a talent, and is certain it is only a matter of time…
PETRA will take on the stage…either if its make-up, hair, or her hidden talent of acting and singing…this girl will succeed.

ANNA LOUISE ANDERSSON, is an upcoming jazz and soul artist born and raised in Sölvesborg, Sweden (in spiritual addition: Anna Louise and ELSAandME founder Maja met for the first time as babies; born at the same hospital in Sweden 3 days apart. 26 years later they meet again in New York City).
ANNA LOUISE started singing when she was 6 years old, and has been trained classically, in jazz, and in contemporary music since then. While living in London during 2 years starting 2001 she found her true interest in jazz. One visit to the famous jazz club Ronnie Scotts took her all the way to where she is today, at the New School for Jazz and Contemporary Music, Manhattan, New York.
Early influences from soul and RnB music still peal in ANNA’s voice creating a unique sound, bringing something extravagant to the traditional jazz scene.

BEING AN ENTREPRENEUR It is not easy being a Swede in this uncategorized society.
In the 1800’s all Swedish entrepreneurs jumped on a boat and travelled thousands of miles all the way over the 
Atlantic Ocean, to the unknown, looking to start a whole new life in America. Left in Sweden were the engineers, the bureaucrats that had all agreed upon that the ocean was either too risky or at the most impossible to conquer.
In 2008 I booked my ticket online, travelled economy class, landed in Spanish Harlem, New York, and thought life was pretty sweeet.
After 1 year in this land of opportunity I realize this country is neither built by engineers, nor by bureaucrats. The whole society runs on fire up its ass…everything’s possible, and everyone promise you that they will and can deliver…even though they won’t or can’t.
It all has its advantages. There is a reason Im here; sicken tired of having to conform to the consensus of how to live a life, although from time to time I’m reminded of that some kind of structure, and feeling of control would be comfortable.
It’s not easy being a Swede in America.
