What We’re Doing to Kick Off Women’s History Month?

Edit: The event will be held on March 7th, 7-9PM. RSVP here.

We’re excited to announce that we’ll be hosting a unique sizing event to help kick off Women’s History Month! Our plan is to offer any guest in attendance a chance to have their measurements taken to certify they are perfectly normal human beings…that no one else will be able to prove otherwise.

Every year, March is used as a month-long celebration of women’s equality. It’s when the United States, United Kingdom, and Australia officially recognize the sometimes unsung accomplishments of women in history.

So, being a women-focused company, as well as in keeping with ELSA AND ME’s core principle of fashion that’s functional and inclusive, we thought it be fun to host an exclusive event for our supporters and friends to mark the start of such an important annual event.

Anyone that attends can get sized up by an ELSA AND ME associate and receive a written record of their measurements as an official certificate that declares they are a perfectly normal human being. Guests can then use the certificate to order custom clothing or demonstrate they are in fact not abnormal (at least on the outside).

Many times over the years, we’ve encountered potential customers who were overly concerned with what their body measurements said about them. So we came up with this tongue-in-cheek way for people to have a record of their measurements for ordering and also say “Hey, there’s nothing wrong with you, you're a perfectly normal human being.”

The fitting event will take place on March 1 at 6:30-8:30PM in Manhattan. If you’d like to attend and learn more details, you can reserve your spot by going here.
